Later in the 1980’s and 1990’s our focus steadily shifted towards retirement planning. Like most firms at the time, our early emphasis was helping individuals grow their nest eggs. However, as a natural result of a maturing client base, the accumulation phase is now being overshadowed by the need for more structured retirement services.
The transition into retirement affects all aspects of an individual’s financial plan, including cash flow, risk management, investment planning, health care spending, and survivorship planning to name but a few.
In response to an increasing number of our clients “hatching” their nest eggs, we have formalized a suite of retirement transition services, called the Hatch PlanSM. The Hatch Plan seeks to protect and optimize your nest egg within the larger context of addressing the critical life issues that you will face in retirement; an intersection of investment management and life management.
